Advice of Shaykh Zayd al-Madkhali to the Committee of Masjid Athari, East London.
The Shaykh agreed yesterday (Friday, 24th January 2014) to give a word of advice regarding establishing Masjid Athari in East London and
advice to the general community.

Abu Hakeem Bilal: … We are present now in East London … cooperating with our brothers here from East London in the commencement of a
project for opening a masjid for the Salafis, Masjid al-Athari, and we cooperate with them…
Shaykh Zayd: Maashaa’Allaah.
Abu Hakeem Bilah: We have found a building and it should be the first Salafi Masjid in [East] London, in this region East London. There are
also our brothers from Dar al-Sunnah and they are from West London.
Shaykh Zayd: I make du’a for (barakah) for this project that you have initiated, it is a project of goodness, and the results of it – inshaa’Allaah ta’aalaa – will return back to you in reward in this life and the next and benefits through which you will have a goodly life in this life and the next. Continue upon this and invite (through da’wah) those whom you are able from the others from your Muslim brothers and those whom you able to invite from the Christians (to Islam). Whoever you call to Islam and Allaah honours them with Islam then you have a great reward.. “That Allaah guides a man through you is better than (the prized possession) of red camels”…
